The University Director, Nursing Persistence and Outcomes reports directly to the Associate Dean, College of Nursing and works closely with Pre-Licensure Nursing Program leadership and in particular, the campus-based Managers, Nursing Persistence and Outcomes. The University Director trains, oversees, and supports all Managers, Nursing Persistence and Outcomes and their teams in areas related to policies and processes that support student persistence and outcomes success, tools/resources to collect and input data for its tactical utilization, vendor-specific resource use and management to ensure quality student learning experiences. The University Director is responsible for leading the campus Managers with the development, implementation, oversight, evaluation, and maintenance of comprehensive Persistence and Outcomes Success Plans across all Pre-Licensure Nursing Programs with the goal of maintaining and sustaining 90%+ student persistence and licensure pass rates.
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education, or administration.
Doctorate in Nursing or Education
Mastery in knowledge of one or more related disciplines (Pre-licensure Nursing and outcomes—specifically NCLEX).
Project administration and management.
Knowledge of state, federal, and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards such as state Boards of Nursing, programmatic Nursing accreditation (CCNE), and other accreditation standards.
Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports and projections.
Experience in MS Office.
Generally 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
Current Registered Nurse License in the state of employment.
