The Director, Compensation & Benefits is both a strategic and hands-on role responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentive pay, executive compensation, health and welfare benefits and retirement benefits.  Works with senior leadership to ensure that compensation and benefits programs support the organizations business objectives and meet all legal requirements.   This role will report directly to the head of Human Resources and will have oversight for a Benefits Administrator and a Sr. Compensation Analyst.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field.
  • CCP and/or CEBS preferred


  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience required, including compensation and benefits management.  
  • Strong project management, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability of establishing and maintaining partnerships with company executives, management and key stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work cross functionally
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to clearly define, implement, communicate process improvements and solutions
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build and maintain complex models.
