  • Reporting to the Chief Information officer, the Director of Operational Reporting leads, develops, and manages a team of reporting specialists to perform requirements gathering, reviews, analyzes and evaluates business procedures, advanced data analysis, explain analytical findings, management of Application Development staff and present results to all levels of the organization.
  • Ensures team can respond efficiently and expeditiously to customer requests for information, documentation, and analytical support.
  • Serves as the operational reporting subject matter expert and answers inquiries from business related to reports and dashboards.
  • Assists executives in defining organizational goals and strategies as they relate to improving day-to-day operations, data, reporting, documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Partners with business leaders to support reporting and analytic needs in their operational areas.

A Sampling of Some of the Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership in designing and solutioning dashboards, KPI and productivity reports and capacity planning.
  • Manages data insights and analytics, including building out operational dashboards in partnerships with all business areas.
  • Understands, builds, develops reporting systems, dashboards, and/or logic to track metrics that support the key business functions.
  • Implements data reporting strategies and assures management of reporting and documentation projects and resources.
  • Have a good understanding of the Salesforce and CampusVue database architecture.
  • Reverse engineer process flows and work with data warehouse team to troubleshoot upstream data issues.


  • Bachelors Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or related field is required.

Experience Required:

  • 7 years of experience in working with large data sets and databases and expertise defining, designing, integrating, and analyzing data to draw meaningful conclusions and strategic implications is required.
  • 5 years of demonstrated leadership in a comparable role; experience can run concurrently.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Experience in project management, data analysis, reporting is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce and CampusVue is required.
  • Experience with Application Development of reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to maneuver effectively and succeed through change; shift gears comfortably as new information is available, and the market environment evolves; decisive and comfortable handling risk and uncertainty.
