Reporting directly to the Director, Alumni Relations & Events, the Assistant Director, Alumni and Events is responsible for assisting all the activities established for the University Alumni program, communication, events and activities, including but not limited to assisting with public relations, managing events, receptions and community related projects. The Assistant Director, Alumni and Events is actively engaged in creating and nurturing relationships that will potentiate continued success for Alumni and the University as a whole. Is accountable for success of WCU Alumni functions and building strong relationships with key groups in the WCU community, supports the goals of placement, and clinical preceptors continued admissions, enrollments and fundraising. Provides direction to students, alumni and industry in accordance with the mission and purpose of the University.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, business management, communications, marketing, public relations, student personnel, or related field required.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
