Reporting to the Director, Facilities Services, the Maintenance Mechanic II provides building repair and maintenance for the daily operation of the campuses and the Administration building. The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for the administration of the Facilities Department WORQS work order system, inter and intra-building moves, adds, and/or changes, repair and preventative maintenance of various office equipment and building systems, and inspection/audit of the building in accordance with all applicable safety, maintenance, and organizational policies, procedures, and best practices. The Maintenance Mechanic II is also responsible for responding to requests for movement of materials, shipping and receiving, room setup and breakdown, general cleaning, and spills as needed.
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
